After graduating from Sevier County High School, Andrew went to East Tennessee State University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  Andrew went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., to obtain his Juris Doctor degree.  During his law school career, Andrew took a concentration in International Law, which afforded him the opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand and Australia. After receiving his law degree, Andrew clerked with Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Gary Wade.  Soon afterwards, he was admitted to practice law in Tennessee. His education, experience and candor reflect a high level of legal ability and expertise. He has aggressively represented clients in many areas, including personal injury, criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy and more. Attorney Farmer attacks each case uniquely as he has a keen understanding that each situation and client is different.  Mr. Farmer is admitted to practice in all Tennessee State courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the United States Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Farmer attended and graduated from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – Criminal Defense College in June 2009.  Attorney Farmer was elected to the Tennessee State House of Representatives in November 2012 and is currently serving his first term in the 108th General Assembly.  Mr. Farmer also serves on the Board of Directors for the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministry.  In October 2012, Mr. Farmer was voted as the best attorney in Sevier County in The Mountain Press Readers Choice awards, after being voted in the top three attorney’s for the previous three years.

Mr. Farmer is married and he and his wife have two children.  Mr. Farmer enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with his family during his free time.
